Should I buy a Greatest Bag or a Black Hole?
The Patagonia Black Hole was a go-to bag for ultimate for many years, and it's a real workhorse. If simplicity and durability are your only priorities, it might be the bag for you.
If instead you're interested in comfort, durability, ultimate-specific features, supporting small ultimate businesses, the availability of custom team or event bags, and being able to find all your gear without dumping it out on the ground, Greatest is, well, the greatest.
But don't take our word for it. Check out the review from the ultimate players at Pod Practice Podcast, where they put the two most popular duffel bags for ultimate head-to-head.
Do the bags meet carry-on luggage restrictions?
Our biggest 60-liter bag fits in all but the tiniest of overhead compartments, and at 23.8 x 12.5 x 10.6 inches (60.5 x 32 x 27 cm) is within the carry-on limits for many (but not all) airlines.
We've personally carried the bag onto flights on many domestic, international and budget airlines with no issues.
All our other bags should be within the carry-on size limits of even the stingiest airlines. (We're looking at you, Ryan Air!)
You can see the limits by airline here, but we recommend checking the carry-on restrictions on your airline's website before flying to avoid any surprises.

We'll give you the shipment tracking info so you can follow it's progress, and do everything we can to get your bag onto your sideline ASAP.
Is the bag waterproof?
The fabric and zippers are waterproof, and should keep your gear dry in light rain.
For heavier rain, or if you want more protection for sensitive gear, we included a rain fly. It can cover the bag in backpack or duffel mode, whether it's on your back or on the sideline.

Are taxes and VAT charges included in the price?
Taxes are not included, and depending on the rules where you live you may be charged VAT or other customs duties when your order arrives.
We've shipped thousands bags to dozens of countries, and the vast majority arrived smoothly and on time. Should your shipment have any issues we'll do our best to help.
What's the best way to clean the bag? How can I get rid of that smell?!
To remove dirt from the bag's exterior or interior, we recommend wiping it with a damp washcloth.
To keep the bag smelling fresh, avoid storing smelly cleats or jerseys in the bag for long periods of time, and put the open bag somewhere with good air circulation to let it air out naturally.
For more serious odors, put a dryer sheet or charcoal odor absorber (like you would put in your refrigerator) inside the closed bag and leave it for a day or two. If the odor persists, try wiping the inside of the bag with a damp cloth, or use a spray deodorizer like Fabreze.
When trying any of these methods, avoid harsh chemicals and test on a small area first to make sure there are no adverse effects.
